Grace Maria Eberhardt
is a history Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she researches the history of science, race, and ethnicity in the U.S. She has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in biology and African American studies with an emphasis in bioethics from the University of Puget Sound. She led the movement to remove the name 鈥淪later鈥� from the 鈥淪later Museum of Natural History鈥� at her alma mater, now named the 鈥淧uget Sound Museum of Natural History.鈥�
